Hello! I’m Rouxlé Stroebel, the counsellor behind Geheel. I'm a specialist wellness counsellor (spesialis welstandsberader) with the ASCHP, offering client-centered counselling services to individuals and couples. My services cater to adults and are available in both English and Afrikaans. While I provide non-faith-based counselling, I approach my clients from a Christian perspective, recognising inherent value and unique purpose. I strive to create a non-judgmental and accepting environment, regardless of clients' beliefs and backgrounds, allowing them to share their mistakes, fears, and hopes in a safe space. I am continually inspired by the strength and resilience of the clients I work with. Together we can foster personal and relationship growth.
The name Geheel reflects my approach to counselling. Geheel is the Afrikaans word for "whole." I believe in embracing the entirety of each individual, recognizing that every client is a wonderfully complex and unique person. Each person comprises body, mind, and spirit, shaped by their past, present, and future. When clients come to Geheel, they are welcomed as their whole selves. There’s no need to conceal any part of who they are to be accepted. Everyone is encouraged to show up as they are—you're welcome, all of you is welcome.
